About Chin Ee

Loh Chin Ee is Assistant Professor in the English Language and Literature Academic Group at the National Institute of Education.

Her primary research interest is in reading and equity and she draws on innovative research methods such as socio-spatial and visual methods to examine issues of distribution of and access to literacy resources.

Reading is a foundation skill for learning and academic achievement, and in the wake of worldwide concerns with literacy rates, many nations have turned their attention towards reading instruction and strategies.
